Background
Sanwa Trees emerged during the challenging COVID era, driven by a fervent love for health-enhancing plants like fruit trees, herbs, Zumbani, and Moringa. As the organization flourished, our dedication to exploring the incredible benefits of various health plants intensified, and Moringa shone brilliantly, surpassing all others. This ignited a deep passion within us to advocate for Moringa in every imaginable form and to passionately educate Zimbabweans about the extraordinary potential of this remarkable ‘Miracle Tree’.
“Those who think they have no time for healthy eating will sooner or later have to find time for illness.” – Edward Stanley.
Vision and Mission
“Superfood Nutrition Everywhere”. Our goal is to encourage Zimbabweans to know the following:
- Beneficial plants such as Green Tea and Rooibos are not classified as Superfoods because they do not have the diversity and density of nutrients that Moringa has.
- Moringa (also known as ‘The Miracle Tree, or The Tree of Life) is considered the ultimate Superfood as it contains 92 nutrients, 46 antioxidants, 36 anti-inflammatories, 18 amino acids, and 9 essential amino acids.
- Superfoods like Moringa offer various health benefits, such as slowing down the aging process, skin and hair health, boosting immunity, reducing inflammation, supporting heart health, improving digestion, and enhancing overall vitality – and that’s all from one food source.
- It only takes a teaspoon a day (but you will only get the benefits if you are consistent) that you can add to teas, smoothies, sprinkle in salads or porridge/cereals, mix into yogurt.
